On the 6th April, we went to the First North Cross Country. It was an amazing day and we all had lost of fun. The event included Eureka, Clunes, Upper Coopers Creek, Rosebank, Bexhill and Eltham Public Schools. Kids from all schools did their best and gave it a great go.
Eureka celebrated a victory by coming first out of all schools, the first win for us for cross country in at least 12 years.
We first walked around the track, making sure we knew where to go. The day started off with the two fun runs, one for the 5, 6 and 7 year old boys and then another for the girls.
The next event was the 12/13 year old boys and then the girls. After that were the 11 year old boys. 11 year old girls, 10 year old boys, 10 year old girls, 8/9 year old boys, and the lastly the 8/9 year old girls.
Special mention to the following runners who placed highly on the day.
