Tuesday 23rd October 2018 was our annual Book Character Parade. Grand Friends day, Book fair and Literacy Workshop with Guest local author Mr Tristan Bancks.
All of these events combined to create a huge day of literature fun for everyone.
The students impressed dressing up as their favourite book character and with their Grand friends attending it was a day full of love and laughter.
Local author Tristan Bancks honoured us by coming along and speaking to the students about his early life and how he find inspiration to be a writer today. The students loved Tristan's stories especially when he read from his latest book 'Tom Weekly'.
A big shout out to the winners of the Book Character Parade, Thomas, Arlo, Sofia and Millie for their incredible efforts is costumes.
